Emmy Holly-Proskin
A restless soul keeping the after hours crowd & wounded troops entertained on BlogTalkRadio, we discovered Emmy one late morning playing tunes & chatting on air with others enjoying her soft voice during these early hours. Quick witted & very opinionated about veteran affairs, Emmy was quickly befriended as she became a regular contributor & staple on our show. It is with great content that we at FFNO call Emmy our friend, and introduce her as our first full fledged female contributor, a position she most definitely merits!
Welcome aboard, Emmy!
My name is Emmy Holly-Proskin and reside in Oak Hill, West Virginia. I was introduced to FFNO in April of ‘09 and found great interest in it. I am the type of person that likes to say what is on my mind but have a little fun while doing so, and I found it there. Within the xx-years (I’m not telling), I have been in the political field of my county, Fayette. I have never held an office however I have ran for city office, needless to say my opponent won, lol. I have met and worked during the campaign of several local county offices such as sheriff, prosecutor, circuit court judges, along with state senates and delegates. My great-aunt was the founder of Grandparents Day, Marion McQuade. Hulette C. Smith, uncle of my fiance, Joe L. Smith III, was governor of West Virginia in the mid-60s, and his grandfather is the late congressman Joe L. Smith. I have worked with the county R.E.A.C.T (radio emergency associate communication team) in the past for approx 5 years, I was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary. And as May 9, 09 I have been 15 years seizure free thanks to the left-side lobotomy done at the University of Virginia. Thats about it. God Bless_____________________________________________
